Testimonials

See what the youth are saying about Mentoring Mighty Minds!

Joseph W. Former Student

Mr. B. was a huge help to me during my freshman year. The math was new and kinda hard. Now I love going to class to do well!!

David L. Former Student

I did not like school just cuz of math. When I started working with Mr. B, he was more fun than my teachers. We did more than just school work. One day he took me and my cousin to a Rockets game. We had so much fun. We all had hotdogs and soda. But first had to figure out how much it would cost before we could order. Stuff like that makes a difference.

Jordan J. Current Tutee/Mentee

When I study math I used to not remember how to do equations, when Mr. B became my tutor I can ask him anything at anytime. He helps whenever I need it, so I can do better in school.

John C. Student

I knew the start of the new school year was going to bring some changes. When Mr. B became my new math teacher, I was ready for alot of learning and a great time. My friends who had his class always said he was they favorite teacher at the school. I was glad when I got him. MR. B ROCKS!

Robert S. Tutee/Mentee

Mr. B use games for learning, that’s fun and help me learn it quicker. I can even play the game when I get home and show my parents what I know. I like that.. Thanks, Mr. B

Marcus H. Tutee/Mentee

Over Christmas my momma didn’t have money to buy gifts, when Mr. B came for our study session he had two walkie talkie gifts for me and my lil brother. We were so excited and grateful. He is awesome! Great guy in my life.
